The feature covered how MakeItSkin is bringing K beauty sensibilities into the first aid aisle with SUPERBAND Bug Bite Relief, a hydrocolloid patch designed to curb scratching and reduce the appearance of redness. Each waterproof, latex free patch creates a protective barrier over the bite and is infused with centella asiatica to calm sensitive and eczema prone skin.

Our cofounder and CEO, Jihye Shin, told WWD that the brand grew out of watching customers use our original hydrocolloid bandages on bug bites, and that insight is what shaped this launch. She described SUPERBAND as bringing "K pharmacy" concepts to the market by living in the space between skin care and first aid, or "skin aid."

Getting recognized alongside brands pushing scalp SPF and red light therapy is proof that hydrocolloid wound care belongs in the same conversation as the rest of beauty's next wave, not off to the side as a medicine cabinet afterthought.
